Staffing Ratio: Based on each unit

Goal: To reward flexibility and availability and to allow employees to choose the program that best meets their needs and skill set.

Units:

• 3 North (Med/Surg)
• 2 South (Surgical/Oncology)
• 2 Central (Orthopaedics)
• Acute Health Care (Stepdown)
• ICU
• Women’s & Children’s- includes:
     Mother/Baby, NICU, Labor & Delivery, Pediatrics
• ER

Scheduling Options:

• Full Time
• Part Time
• PRN

Incentives:

Employees are paid based on employment status (FT, PT or PRN), and commitment level.  The advantage of working in the float pool is to maintain a wide variety of skills and to be compensated for additional skills and availability.

Eligibility:

Must have at least one year direct recent experience in areas selected for floating.
