Gulf Coast Medical Center Women’s Health Navigator Kay Hankins, RN, says, “For most families, women are the primary caregivers.  Sudden or chronic pain not only diminishes their quality of life, but too often it also affects their family.  Our August seminar will focus on three of the most common causes of pain – joint, spine, and chest pain.  The physician speakers will talk about causes of the pain and new treatment options.”

Gulf Coast Medical Center is Northwest Florida’s exclusive Spirit of Women partner.  Spirit of Women is a coalition of hospitals and healthcare providers across the country that ascribe to high standards of excellence in women’s health, education and community outreach. “Our mission through Spirit of Women is to engage, educate, and enliven women.  We want to empower them to make good health easier and to help them, and their families, take action that results in better health,” explained Hankins.
